So Many Deals....

I am trying to blog once a week, but I have been so busy buying my GroupOns, being social with Living Socialfixing up my house with great contractors from Angies List
Angie's List Dining out with great food & making reservations from  Powered By OpenTable: Restaurant Reservations. Right this way.
and trying to work in between time to pay for all of this good stuff-yummy food, massages, mani/pedis and what else can they think of?
 And, don't forget Restaurant.com

There is a site for all of us looking for a deal-I am waiting for one to come up for real estate. Wait, I think it has happened-the market is down 30% from the peak-kind of like a big sale with the lowest interest rates ever, to help us out. And the investors are buying-do they know something we do not know? And they usually are the ones who have money because they invest. Interesting market-either houses sell with multiple offers or they wait to be reduced in price, until they are at the “perfect” price and then they sell!

Make sure to take time to have fun and check out all of the great deals around town-and if you are thinking of buying or selling, call me!

New listing

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I have a new listing at 3412 W. Clark Ave in Burbank and had an open house-over 25 people came through! Lots of first time buyers are out and about! I have never seen so many people with babies and children at one open house! The house is charming with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath and listed at $499,000.
Click here for more info and pictures!  Burbank is well known for it's excellent schools and services, such as Police and Fire Department~actually when you call them, they are there in about 5 minutes. The town has grown up over the years, but still has the small town feeling, with a lot of fun things to do and minutes to the Studios, yummy restaurants and lots of good shopping. Do you have a favorite hot spot in Burbank?

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms
 and Mothers-to-be.

Well, here we are again. Mother's day is approaching and we all have special Moms in our lives-some are watching over us from above or from this place we call Earth. Moms are the best-they always think we look wonderful and love us for who we are.

You don’t have to break the bank on Mother’s Day, but whatever you do, don’t forget to remember Mom and all the special things she does for you all year long.If nothing else, make sure you spend some time with your mom and let her know you care.
Do you have any Mother's Day traditions? Tell us in the comments

Earth Day Forever....

I have a wonderful new listing coming out this week in Burbank and was working on it when all of a sudden I got side tracked. The Internet is a funny thing-you can be on there for hours and have nothing to show for it-well I did see a few things that might be of interest to you…

There is a new app for the IPhone at www.earth911.com/recycle that delivers recycling information for over 240 different materials, helps you find the right place to donate your old phone, dispose of used tires or sends you to the place to recycle dead batteries. It also has a calender of events, news, tips and articles about recycling.

The U.S. Postal Service recently unveiled its new line of
"Go Green" Forever stamps that show simple actions
anyone can take to improve the environment. The 16 stamps feature people of all ages carrying out low-cost or free actions that have an immediate effect on the environment, from adjusting the thermostat and using public transportation to composting and recycling. Designed by San Francisco artist Eli Noyes, the “Go Green” stamps are the Postal Service’s social awareness issue for 2011.
That is all for now...Except if you want to check out Lisitng Book here is the link. You can search the MLS and have all the new listings delivered to you every day! My clients love it!

Greetings from Studio City....

Welcome to my blog which centers around the Real Estate market in Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village and the surrounding areas.  I have decided to join the “Bloggers”, as I think it will be beneficial to anyone who wants to know what is going on in our crazy real estate world that changes minute by minute! There will be good articles on schools, neighborhoods, how to get a loan, tips for buyers and sellers and neighborhood happenings. Other hot topics that might be of interest to you are ideas and advice on decorating, design, Feng Shui and what is the greenest way for all of us to live and breathe in order to help our children and their children be here for many moons to come. I will also have some newsworthy items to save you money or make you more money, as we all can use more of the pretty green stuff, whether the economy is good or bad. Money helps make the world go round and adds a little peace, happiness and harmony to our daily lives-although as we all know, money does not buy us happiness-it only makes life a little more fun and less stressful.
Feel free to to add any comments or if there is any particular item you want to talk about-let me know. I will do my best to keep this interesting, keep you well informed and give you sound advice so you will come back for more….
